 Decatur Eisenhower is 0-7 against Mt. Zion since April of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit  on Thursday. The Decatur Eisenhower Panthers will head out on the road to  face off against  the Mt. Zion Braves at 4:30  p.m.
 Decatur Eisenhower is is headed into Thursday's   contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their eighth straight game  on Saturday. They fell victim to a  rough 36-0 loss at the hands of Blue Ridge.
 Decatur Eisenhower saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Tristin Lukas, who  went 2-for-2 with two  stolen bases.
 Meanwhile, Mt. Zion narrowly escaped with a  victory as the  squad sidled past Pleasant Plains  5-3.
  Kyleigh Garber was  excellent,  going 1-for-3 with a  home run. Another player making a difference was  Addy Rotz, who  scored a  run while going 2-for-4.
 Decatur Eisenhower's defeat dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Mt. Zion, their win was  their 17th straight on the road dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 17-3.
 Decatur Eisenhower might still be hurting after the  18-0 loss they got from Mt. Zion  in their previous matchup  back in May of 2023. Can Decatur Eisenhower avenge their  defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
