Baseball Recap: Jessieville Comes Up Short

Jessieville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 21-4 to the Glen Rose Beavers. The Lions were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Beavers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Jessieville saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Levi Anderson, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Jessieville's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Glen Rose, their win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 7-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Jessieville will welcome Two Rivers at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Glen Rose, they will host Mayflower at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Eagles will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Beavers surely won't give up without a fight.
