Volleyball Recap: Belleview Christian Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Belleview Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Gilpin County Eagles. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bruins of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-18, 25-12.

Tara Polson paced Belleview Christian's offense, picking up six kills. Polson got some help from Anessa Schanke and her 11 assists. Schanke was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

Belleview Christian's loss dropped their record down to 4-16. As for Gilpin County, the win snapped their losing streak at four matches and leaves them with a 6-11 record.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Belleview Christian is set to challenge their familiar foe Lyons at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Gilpin County will take on rival Highland at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
