Basketball Recap: Trinity Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Trinity Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 48-24 to Varsity Opponent. Unfortunately, that's the sixth time they've come up short against Varsity Opponent this season, with their most recent loss being a 46-22 defeat last Thursday.

Despite the loss, Trinity Christian Academy saw an underclassman step up: freshman Betsy Sundahl almost dropped a double-double with 12 points and nine blocks. That was a full 50% of Trinity Christian Academy's points, marking the fourth time in a row Sundahl has posted more than a third of the team's points.

Trinity Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 4-19.

Trinity Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Varsity Opponent, they have already played their next match, a 30-14 loss against Thomas Jefferson School on the 25th.
