Basketball Game Preview: Warren Dragons vs. Franklin Knights

Warren is 1-7 against Franklin since December of 2014 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Warren Dragons will host the Franklin Knights at 7:15 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Saturday, Warren was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 57-52 to Mercyhurst Prep.

Meanwhile, Franklin was beaten by Girard 78-39 on Saturday. While losing is never fun, the Knights can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 324th, while the Yellowjackets are ranked 106th).

Franklin has traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-9 record this season. As for Warren, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-4.

Warren skirted past Franklin 47-45 in their previous meeting back in January. Does Warren have another victory up their sleeve, or will Franklin turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
