Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask St. Joseph's Academy). They strolled past the Hazelwood West Wildcats with points to spare on Monday, taking the game 74-60. That's more bragging rights for the Angels, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Despite the loss, Hazelwood West saw an underclassman step up: freshman Jamiah Herring-Green went 12 of 19 en route to 36 points and eight boards. That was a full 60% of Hazelwood West's points, marking the fourth time in a row she's posted more than a third of the team's points. Zayniyah Jackson was another key player, putting up ten points in addition to eight assists and eight rebounds.

St. Joseph's Academy is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.8 points per game. As for Hazelwood West, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-6.
