Volleyball Recap: Chaparral Continues Home Dominance on Wednesday

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Great Oak, Chaparral was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Murrieta Valley Nighthawks by a score of 3-1. The win continues a trend for the Pumas in their matchups with the Nighthawks: they've now won five in a row.

Chaparral had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 22-25, 25-16, 25-22, 26-24.

Chaparral pushed their record up to 13-10 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. As for Murrieta Valley, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-18.

Chaparral and Murrieta Valley will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next contests. The next time Chaparral sees the court they'll take on Vista Murrieta at 6:30 p.m. on April 7. As for Murrieta Valley, their break will end when they face Temecula Valley at 6:30 p.m. on April 7.
