Football Recap: Colo-NESCO Comes Up Short

After flying high against Meskwaki Settlement last Friday, Colo-NESCO came back down to earth. The Royals took a 44-40 hit to the loss column at the hands of Baxter on Friday. The Royals were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Baxter apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Colo-NESCO dropped their record down to 3-4 with the loss, which was their third straight at home. As for Baxter, their victory bumped their record up to an identical 3-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Colo-NESCO will host GMG at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Baxter, they will welcome Montezuma at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Baxter will be up against the Braves' rather soft defense (which has allowed 48 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
