Volleyball Recap: Cactus Shadows Starts Season with Victory Against Paradise Honors

Cactus Shadows had to kick off their season on the road on Wednesday, but they showed no ill effects. They had just enough and edged out the Paradise Honors Panthers 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Falcons have posted since September 21, 2024.

Cactus Shadows was led to victory by Gabby Procopio and Karease Broeker. Procopio had 22 digs, while Broeker had 22 kills. That's the most digs Procopio has posted since back in October of 2024.

Coming up, Cactus Shadows is taking a road trip to face off against Bradshaw Mountain at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Paradise Honors, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Greenway at 6:00 p.m. on September 4.
