League recap: East Laurens win leads to rise in state rank

East Laurens moved up to 211 from 241 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in AA Region 3. A 53-6 win over Josey helped the Falcons improve their standing.
Screven County led the league in scoring this week after putting up 54 points on Harlem.
Harlem's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Bulldogs feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Trey Price has thrown for 207 yards this season, while Dalton Green has one catches for 46 yards. Dontel Frails leads the league in rushing with 404 yards.
A big matchup in AA Region 3 this week will be when Laney takes on the Gamecocks. The Wildcats are currently in fourth, while Screven County is in first.
