Baseball Recap: Coshocton Redskins vs. Strasburg-Franklin Tigers
Coshocton had lost five straight at home, but on Saturday they dropped their record down to 2-10 to make it six. They came up short against the Strasburg-Franklin Tigers, falling 12-3. If the Redskins were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Tigers when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.
As for Strasburg-Franklin, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-5. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.0 runs over those games.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Coshocton will head out to take on Crooksville at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Strasburg-Franklin, they will venture away from home to challenge Buckeye Trail at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Tigers 4.1, the Warriors 3.6) so any runs scored will be well earned.
