Soccer Recap: North Side Comes Up Short

North Side pushed their score to zero the last time they played Arlington Heights, but on Friday they couldn't quite do it again. The North Side Steers took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Arlington Heights Yellowjackets. While losing is never fun, the Steers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 528th, while the Yellowjackets are ranked 187th).

North Side's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Arlington Heights, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-1-2.

North Side will be playing in front of their home fans against Wyatt at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday. North Side is facing Wyatt at the right time seeing as Wyatt is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Arlington Heights, they will venture away from home to challenge Paschal at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Paschal will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Arlington Heights surely won't give up without a fight.
