Basketball Recap: Pawhuska Drops Highest Score of Season Against Epic Charter

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Pawhuska). They really took it to the Epic Charter Comments for the full four quarters, racking up an 82-28 win. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 58-18.

Pawhuska's win on Saturday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Dax Godsey, who posted nine points along with five assists and three steals. Another player making a difference was Jenson Snodgrass, who went 5 for 6 en route to 14 points.

Godsey wasn't the only one working in the assists department: Pawhuska was working as a unit and finished the game with 17 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since back in February of 2024.

Pawhuska has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-9 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.6 points per game. As for Epic Charter, they dropped their record down to 0-4 with the defeat, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season.

Pawhuska will square off against Wilson-Henryetta at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Wilson-Henryetta will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Pawhuska surely won't give up without a fight. As for Epic Charter, they will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on Wynona at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Epic Charter is facing Wynona at the right time seeing as Wynona is stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
