Meadowbrook extended their road winning streak to nine games thanks to a huge performance from Journey Nicola. The Colts put the hurt on the Morgan Raiders with a sharp 3-0 win on Thursday for which the team can thank Nicola, who had 11 digs and two aces. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last three games she's played.

One reason for the win was Meadowbrook's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-13, 25-12.

Meadowbrook's victory bumped their record up to 13-1. As for Morgan, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-8.

Looking ahead, Meadowbrook will venture away from home to take on New Lexington at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Morgan, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-1 loss against River View on the 20th.
