Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask Woodhaven). Everything went their way against the Anderson Titans on Thursday as they made off with  a  17-3 win. The Warriors haven't had any issues with the Titans recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive  victory against them.
The team  relied heavily on  Ariel Krueger, who  went a perfect 4-for-4 with four  runs, two  triples,  and four  RBI. Those  four  hits gave  her a new career-high.  Gracie Dixon was another key player,  going 2-for-3 with one  home run, two  runs,  and two  RBI.
 Woodhaven  hit smart and  finished the game with only two  strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least five batters  in six consecutive  contests.
Woodhaven's record is now 10-3. As for Anderson, their loss was  their third straight at home, which  dropped their record down to 8-6.
 Woodhaven and Anderson should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage  in the MaxPreps Michigan Rankings. The Warriors will  square off against  Edsel Ford  at 4:30  p.m.  on Monday with a big rank  advantage  (8 vs. 330). Meanwhile,  Anderson (ranked 147th) will meet Crestwood (ranked 392nd)  at 4:00  p.m.  on Friday.
