Baseball Recap: Southern Door Comes Up Short

Southern Door lost against Sevastopol on Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Eagles fell just short of the Pioneers by a score of 2-1. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Drew Daoust spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned runs on four hits and racked up six Ks.

Southern Door's loss dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Sevastopol, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-8.

Southern Door does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Sevastopol, they will welcome Sturgeon Bay at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
