Sierra took a nine-run defeat the last time they faced off against Patterson, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Timberwolves narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Tigers 3-1. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Timberwolves as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Sierra's victory bumped their record up to 7-10. As for Patterson, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-16 record this season.

Sierra does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Patterson, they will head out to face off against Manteca at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
