Recap: Walter Northway Warriors vs. Minto Lakers
It was a good run, but the Walter Northway Warriors unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Friday. They suffered a tough 82-56 loss at the hands of Minto. Walter Northway has not had much luck with Minto recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Minto's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jeff Frank, who scored 23 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Frank has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Marsten Capelle, who scored 22 points.
Walter Northway's defeat dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Minto, their victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-1.
Walter Northway does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Minto, they will be playing at home against Tournament Opponent on Thursday.
