Softball Recap: Vaughn White Tigers vs. Fulton Jaguars
Vaughn was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 23-11 to the Fulton Jaguars. Vaughn was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Fulton apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April.
For Fulton's part, Daniela Rivas was a standout: she got four hits. Paola Castillo was another key contributor, getting four hits.
Vaughn's defeat dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Fulton, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-7.
Vaughn will take on East Valley at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday. East Valley is coming into the game with five straight losses at home, meaning Vaughn will have to defend against a team hungry for a win. Fulton will take on Sherman Oaks CES at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday. Fulton will be hoping to continue their four-game streak of scoring more runs each matchup than the last.
