Football Game Preview: Wiggins Tigers vs. Burlington Cougars + How To Watch

The Wiggins Tigers will challenge the Burlington Cougars at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Wiggins has given up an average of 32.2 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Wiggins is headed into Friday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight games on Friday. They took a 34-21 hit to the loss column at the hands of Yuma.

Wiggins' loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Michael Adamson, who picked up 146 receiving yards and a pair of TDs, and Brock Forsha, who threw for 156 yards and two touchdowns.

Meanwhile, Burlington came up short against Wray on Friday and fell 28-18. The Cougars haven't had much luck with the Eagles recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Wiggins will have to contain Jason Saucedo as he made an impact in Burlington's last game. He rushed for 137 yards and three scores. Saucedo is crushing it when it comes to rushing yards: he's rushed for at least 137 every time he's taken the field this season.

Wiggins' defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Burlington, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 5-1.

Friday's contest might be decided on the ground. Wiggins has been excellent on the ground this season, having averaged 165 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Burlington struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 344.8 rushing yards. There's a good chance Friday's game turns into a tough fight on the ground.
