East Providence and Barrington are an even 4-4 against one another since May of 2021, but not for long. The Townies will head out on the road to challenge the Eagles at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. East Providence will be strutting in after a victory while Barrington will be coming in after a defeat.

East Providence played in-conference for the first time on Tuesday and got just the result they were looking for. They put the hurt on Coventry with a sharp 3-0 win.

While East Providence might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Coventry scored at least 19 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 26-24, 25-19, 25-22.

Meanwhile, it was a Battle of the Birds when Barrington took on Bishop Hendricken on Monday. The Eagles came up short against the Hawks, falling 3-0.

The loss didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Bishop Hendricken scored at least 19 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-20, 25-20.

The victory got East Providence back to even at 2-2. As for Barrington, their defeat ended a seven-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 2-2.
