Recap: Livermore Cowboys vs. Alhambra Bulldogs
On Saturday, Livermore came up short against Alhambra and fell 53-46. Livermore has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Alhambra's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Geo Alber, who scored 17 points along with three steals. The match was Alber's fifth in a row with at least ten points. Samuel Gillaspy was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with four steals.
Livermore has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-8 record this season. As for Alhambra, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 8-6 record this season.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Antioch the next time they take the court. Livermore will host Antioch at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, while Alhambra will host them at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
