Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Lily Moss and Caralyn Woodworth Lead GRACE Christian to Victory

There's no place like home for GRACE Christian, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. Everything went their way against the Greensboro Day School Bengals on Monday as they made off with a 3-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Bengals: they've now won six in a row.

GRACE Christian never let Greensboro Day School on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-10, 25-16.

Leading GRACE Christian to victory were Caralyn Woodworth and Lily Moss. Woodworth had 12 digs and three assists, while Moss had five digs. Woodworth is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in each of the last three games she's played.

GRACE Christian was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 14 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in October of 2024.

GRACE Christian's win bumped their record up to 2-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. GRACE Christian will square off against Thales Academy Rolesville at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Greensboro Day School, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Trinity of Durham and Chapel Hill at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
