Softball Recap: Chaffey Starts Season with Win Against Miller

Chaffey took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Tuesday. They blew past the Miller Rebels 9-0. The Tigers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Rebels, too.

The team relied heavily on Alaiza Lopez, who went 2-for-3 with one home run and three RBI. Those three RBI gave her a new career-high. Jasmine Campos was another key player, scoring two runs while going 2-for-2.

Chaffey wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 2-2 draw against West Covina on the 20th. As for Miller, they have also already played their next game, a 16-10 win against Arroyo Valley on the 20th.
