Soccer Game Preview: Christ the King vs. Community School of Davidson + Official Tickets

The Christ the King Crusaders are taking a road trip to face off against the Community School of Davidson Spartans at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The squads are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Christ the King has struggled recently with six losses in a row, while Community School of Davidson will arrive with four straight victories.

Christ the King had taken Corvian Community down for two straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Wednesday. The Crusaders fell just short of the Cardinals by a score of 2-1.

Christ the King's goal came courtesy of Jack Koster, who's now up to two this season.

Meanwhile, Community School of Davidson kept a clean sheet against Bradford Prep on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Bears. The result was nothing new for Community School of Davidson, who have now won eight matches by three goals or more so far this season.

Christ the King's defeat dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Community School of Davidson, their win bumped their record up to 10-4-1.

Christ the King suffered a grim 6-3 defeat to Community School of Davidson in their previous meeting back in September. Can the Crusaders avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
