Passers beware: Jose Ortiz came down with his first-ever interception on Friday and he's no doubt on the hunt for more. He also picked up nine receiving yards, helping propel Merkel past Stanton by a score of 48-9. We hope Ortiz's good effort is the first of many we'll see posted here on MaxPreps.com.
