Softball Recap: Lexington Falls Short of Lindsay Lane Christian Academy in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Lexington can now relate to. They lost 12-5 to the Lindsay Lane Christian Academy Lions on Monday. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Lions this season, with their most recent loss being a 13-3 defeat on April 8th.

Lexington's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-15. As for Lindsay Lane Christian Academy, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 27-8-1.

Coincidentally, Lexington and Lindsay Lane Christian Academy will both be playing Tharptown the next time they take the field. The Golden Bears will host the Wildcats at 3:30 p.m. on Monday, while the Lions will host them on Tuesday.
