The third road contest was the charm for Lunenburg Central, as they earned their first away victory of the season. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 7-6 win over the Buckingham Knights on Tuesday. This was a revenge game for the Chargers: when they faced off against the Knights back in March, they had to take a 6-4 defeat.

Lunenburg Central's victory bumped their record up to 4-7. As for Buckingham, they now have a losing record of 5-6.

Looking ahead, Lunenburg Central will be playing in front of their home fans against Randolph-Henry at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Statesmen will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Chargers surely won't give up without a fight. As for Buckingham, they will face off against Nottoway at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
