Volleyball Recap: Calvary Christian Academy Snags Seventh Win in Last Eight Games

Calvary Christian Academy won the last time they faced Holly Grove Christian and things went their way on Tuesday too. The LIONS were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Eagles.

While Calvary Christian Academy won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 26-24, 25-19.

Marsaia Parker-Cason paced Calvary Christian Academy's offense, picking up six kills. Parker-Cason got some help from Kate Malinky (HS) and her eight assists. Malinky (HS) was also solid from the service line: she led the team with nine aces.

Calvary Christian Academy is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season. As for Holly Grove Christian, they dropped their record down to 6-5 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road.
