Baseball Recap: West Florida Baptist Academy Has No Trouble Against Gulf Pointe Latin

West Florida Baptist Academy never let their opponents score on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 19-0 margin over the Gulf Pointe Latin Gladiators. The victory continues a trend for the Conquerors in their matchups with the Gladiators: they've now won six in a row.

Cruz Duncan made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He struck out seven batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs while going 1-for-3. He is becoming a predictor of West Florida Baptist Academy's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is 2-1 (and 3-8 when he doesn't).

In other batting news, Landon Lombardo was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3. Those hits were his first of the season. Daniel Gonzalez was another key player, scoring two runs while going 1-for-3.
