Recap: Yulee Hornets vs. Baldwin Indians
The Yulee Hornets's game last Friday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Baldwin 68-40 on the road. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Yulee has posted since November 28, 2023.
Yulee can attribute much of their success to Ace Walker, who scored 17 points along with six assists and three steals. That's the first time this season that Walker scored 15 or more points. Another player making a difference was Alex Naumow, who scored nine points along with five rebounds and three steals.
Yulee's win bumped their record up to 8-9. As for Baldwin, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-15.
Yulee will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Hilliard at 7:30 p.m. Hilliard will be looking to extend their current seven-game winning streak. As for Baldwin, they will head out on the road to challenge Keystone Heights at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
