Volleyball Recap: Warrenton Takes a Loss

Warrenton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Holt Indians. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Indians this season, with their most recent defeat being a 3-0 loss on October 2nd.

Holt found their leader in sophomore Ashlyn ` Winans, who had 15 digs and two assists. Winans has been hot, having posted 12 or more digs the last five times she's played. Devin Potson also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Warrenton's defeat dropped their record down to 10-22-2. As for Holt, the win (which was their 13th in a row) raised their record to 18-3-1.

Warrenton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Holt, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Washington on the 25th.
