Softball Recap: The First Academy Takes a Loss

Thursday just wasn't the day for The First Academy's offense. They fell 4-0 to the Foundation Academy Lions on Thursday. The Royals were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Lions apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

The First Academy saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Peyton Watts, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base.

The First Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, The First Academy will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on Bishop Moore at 6:00 p.m. on February 28th. As for Foundation Academy, they will venture away from home to face off against Horizon at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
