Softball Recap: Washington Starts Season with Win Against Central

Washington gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Central Bobcats with a sharp 17-7 win. The victory was some much needed relief for the Rams as it spelled an end to their 17-game losing streak dating back to last season.

Central is on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Washington will welcome Metro Tech at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday. Central will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Sierra Linda at 3:45 p.m. on March 17th.
