The Immokalee Indians will square off against the Mariner Tritons at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Immokalee knows how to get runs on the board -- the team has finished with ten runs or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully Mariner likes a good challenge.
On Thursday, Immokalee was able to grind out a solid win over Moore Haven, taking the game 12-8.

Dora Sanchez was excellent, getting on base in four of her five plate appearances with three RBI. Those three RBI gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Leyah Rodriguez, who got on base in four of her five plate appearances with three runs and one double.
Meanwhile, while Mariner put up some runs on Monday, the same can't be said for North Port. The Tritons blew past the Bobcats 7-0. The result was nothing new for the Tritons, who have now won 11 matches by six runs or more so far this season.
Gabi Winters made a big impact no matter where she played. She kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out 18 over seven innings pitched. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in 20 consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Morgan Tucker, who went 2-for-4 with two triples, two runs, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Rylie Moore, who went 1-for-3 with three RBI, one run, and one double.
Mariner is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Immokalee, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 10-14.
Both Immokalee and Mariner just can't seem to miss. The Indians have been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 10.4 hits per game. However, it's not like Mariner struggles in that department as they've been averaging only 3.5 hits. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Everything went Immokalee's way against Mariner in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, as Immokalee made off with a 14-2 victory. Will the Indians repeat their success, or do the Tritons have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
