Soccer Game Preview: Arendell Parrott Academy vs. Epiphany

The Arendell Parrott Academy Patriots are taking a road trip to face off against the Epiphany Falcons at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Arendell Parrott Academy fell victim to John Paul II Catholic and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They came up short against the Saints, falling 5-0. The loss continues a trend for Arendell Parrott Academy in their meetings with John Paul II Catholic: they've now lost four in a row.

Meanwhile, Epiphany lost 4-1 to Wayne Country Day two weeks ago. While losing is never fun, Epiphany can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 406th, while Wayne Country Day are ranked 189th).

Epiphany's goal came courtesy of Sam Ku, who's now up to eight this season.

Arendell Parrott Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Epiphany, their loss dropped their record down to 3-12.

Arendell Parrott Academy couldn't quite get it done against Epiphany when the teams last played back in October of 2024 as they fell 3-1. Can the Patriots avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
