Basketball Recap: Minooka Gets the Win

Minooka had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They skirted past the Joliet Catholic Hilltoppers 64-61. The Indians haven't had any issues with the Hilltoppers recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Madelyn KIper had an outrageously good game as she went 9-for-16 en route to 24 points and five boards. Another player making a difference was Naya Carter, who dropped a double-double with 12 points and 13 rebounds.

Coming up, Minooka will take on Joliet Central at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Joliet Catholic, they will challenge Lincoln-Way Central at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
