The Demopolis Tigers won the last time they faced the Greene County Tigers, and things went their way on Wednesday too. Demopolis claimed a resounding 63-26 win over Greene County at home.
Greene County's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Jeremiah Bullock, who scored 13 points. Another player making a difference was Jhari Barnes, who scored 6 points along with 3 steals.
The victory got Demopolis back to even at 2-2. As for Greene County, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-8.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Demopolis will take on Linden at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Greene County is on the road again on Thursday and play against Sipsey Valley at 8:00 p.m. on December 7th. Sipsey Valley presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Greene County in Alabama (Sipsey Valley is ranked 172nd, while Greene County is ranked 402nd).
