The Bellows Free Academy Bobwhites/Comets will wrap up 2024 with a road trip to face off against the South Burlington Wolves at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Bellows Free Academy is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Champlain Valley Union just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Monday. The game between them and the Redhawks didn't end well, with Bellows Free Academy falling 48-33. The loss was the Bobwhites/Comets' first of the season.

Meanwhile, South Burlington suffered their biggest defeat since December 10, 2023 on Monday. They came up short against Burlington, falling 80-56.

South Burlington's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Bellows Free Academy, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 3-1.

Bellows Free Academy was able to grind out a solid win over South Burlington when the teams last played back in January, winning 58-46. The rematch might be a little tougher for Bellows Free Academy since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
