Volleyball Recap: Scottsdale Preparatory Academy Comes Up Short

Scottsdale Preparatory Academy lost against Scottsdale Christian Academy back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Spartans came up short against the Eagles, falling 3-0. The Spartans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-9, 25-17.

Ciana Mattingly paced Scottsdale Preparatory Academy's offense, picking up six kills. Mattingly got some help from Morgan Everton and her 16 assists.

Scottsdale Preparatory Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Scottsdale Christian Academy, they pushed their record up to 8-3 with the win, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season.

Coming up, Scottsdale Preparatory Academy will take on Paradise Honors in a tournament on Friday. After both having extra time off, Scottsdale Christian Academy and Arizona Lutheran Academy will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
