Basketball Recap: Southern Coffey County Comes Up Short

Southern Coffey County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 26th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were beaten by the Madison Bulldogs 78-12. While losing is never fun, the Titans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 356th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 176th).

Southern Coffey County's loss dropped their record down to 0-18. As for Madison, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-6.

Coming up, Southern Coffey County will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Central Heights at 7:00 p.m. Central Heights has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. We've got a battle between Bulldogs coming up.
