See the best of what the top 2018 recruit can do

While most fans of college football are focused on the high school Class of 2017, the Class of 2018 isn't far behind.

The jewel of that class is Cartersville (Ga.) 6-foot-6, 195-pound quarterback Trevor Lawrence, who threw for 3,655 yards, 43 touchdowns and just four interceptions last season as a sophomore.

Lawrence, the No. 1 recruit in the country for his class according to 247Sports, led the Hurricanes to a 15-0 season and AAAA state championship.

According to 247Sports, Lawrence already has 24 college offers and its crystal ball says there's a 60 percent chance Texas will land him and 40 percent probability that Georgia will claim the local kid. Clemson and Tennessee are also high on his list, as is Alabama and Cal.

A look at his ultimate highlight video immediately reveals not only a strong and accurate arm, but the ability to throw on the run, even to his left (Lawrence is right-handed). Superb poise and excellent feet for a lad his size are obvious reasons why he's at the top of his class.
