Football Recap: Collinsville Takes a Loss

After flying high against Sand Rock last Friday, Collinsville came back down to earth. The Panthers fell 29-19 to the Geraldine Bulldogs on Friday. The Panthers have struggled against the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Geraldine found their leader in sophomore Jon Beck Wade, who rushed for 86 yards and a pair of scores.

Collinsville's loss dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Geraldine, their victory bumped their record up to 5-1.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Collinsville is set to face off against their familiar foe Sylvania at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Geraldine will take on rival Brindlee Mountain at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
