Basketball Recap: New Prairie Cougars vs. South Bend Washington Panthers
New Prairie was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were beaten by the South Bend Washington Panthers 70-42. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Cougars of the 75-62 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in December of 2023.
New Prairie lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Brody Wiginton, who posted 11 points and six rebounds. Hunter Nelson also deserves some recognition as he pulled down his first boards of the season.
