Soccer Recap: Irvington Comes Up Short

Irvington lost against Kennedy back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Irvington Vikings fell 2-0 to the Kennedy Titans. The Vikings have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Irvington's loss dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Kennedy, their victory bumped their record up to 7-2-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Irvington will venture away from home to face off against Moreau Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Moreau Catholic will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something Irvington surely won't give up without a fight. As for Kennedy, they will take on Mission San Jose at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Kennedy is facing Mission San Jose at the right time seeing as Mission San Jose is stuck on a six-game losing streak.
