Basketball Recap: Moses Lake Extends Winning Streak to Three

Moses Lake hadn't done well against Eastmont recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Moses Lake Mavericks secured an 82-77 W over the Eastmont Wildcats. Winning may never get old, but the Mavericks sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Eastmont's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Daniel Snyder, who dropped a double-double on 22 points and 11 rebounds. Lucas Babst was another key player, going 6 for 14 on his way to 19 points and five rebounds.

Moses Lake now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Eastmont, they dropped their record down to 3-8 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Moses Lake didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, an 82-51 loss against West Valley on the 11th. As for Eastmont, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 79-49 defeat against Davis on the 11th.
