Basketball Game Preview: Berks Catholic Saints vs. Bishop McDevitt Crusaders

Berks Catholic is headed into Thursday's game hungry for a win as their strong season has now been derailed by two straight defeats. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 48-41 to Reading, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Saints came into the matchup with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 27th, while the Red KNights are ranked 86th).

Meanwhile, Bishop McDevitt posted their closest win since December 22, 2023 on Monday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 65-63 victory over James Buchanan.

Berks Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 18-6. As for Bishop McDevitt, the win got them back to even at 10-10.
