Softball Recap: Hutchinson Takes a Loss

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Hutchinson's offense. They lost 8-0 to the Rocori Spartans on Tuesday. The game marked the first time this year in which the Tigers were not able to get on the board.

Hutchinson now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Rocori, they pushed their record up to 1-1 with the victory, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Hutchinson will venture away from home to take on Holy Family Catholic at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Fire will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Tigers surely won't give up without a fight. As for Rocori, they will take on Brainerd at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Warriors' pitching crew has only allowed 3.5 runs per game this season, so the Spartans' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
