Football Game Preview: Passaic Indians vs. Clifton Mustangs

The Passaic Indians are taking a road trip to take on the Clifton Mustangs at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Neither Passaic nor Clifton posted many points in their last games, so it might be the defenses that decide this one.

Passaic is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of New Jersey's top teams: DePaul Catholic, who was ranked fifth at the time (Passaic was ranked sixth). The Indians came up short against the Spartans on Monday, falling 24-0.

Meanwhile, Clifton fell victim to Passaic County Tech and their airtight defense on Thursday. They took a 7-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bulldogs.

Clifton now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Passaic, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.

Passaic couldn't quite get it done against Clifton when the teams last played back in April of 2024 as they fell 7-0. Can the Indians avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
