            Basketball Recap: Sammamish RedHawks vs. Interlake Saints        
        
		
        
        
            A well-balanced attack led Sammamish over Interlake in every quarter on their way to victory  on Saturday. Everything went the Sammamish RedHawks' way against the Interlake Saints as the Sammamish RedHawks made off with  a  54-29 victory. This was payback for the RedHawks, who suffered  a  48-41  defeat the last time these two teams met.
Sammamish was led to victory by  Tezi Lyons and  Sophia Eastman.  Lyons  dropped  a double-double on 15 points and 14  rebounds, while  Eastman  posted 21 points. That makes it six consecutive games in which  Eastman has scored at least a third of Sammamish's points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Cerise Boyer, who  earned seven  points and six  rebounds.

 Sammamish was working as a unit and  finished the game with 11  assists. That's the most  assists they've managed all season.
 Interlake lost  despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being   Tiffany Shaw, who  had nine points and six  rebounds. Another player making a difference was  Harper Moore, who  put up eight points.
Sammamish's record now sits at 2-4. As for Interlake, their loss dropped their record down to 5-3.
 Sammamish will head out on the road to  square off against  West Seattle  at 7:00  p.m.  on Monday. West Seattle will roll in looking for their  fourth straight  win, something Sammamish surely won't give up without a fight. As for Interlake, they will welcome Bellingham  at 5:00  p.m.  on Friday.
